NAME

xfaxsend, xfaxrecv, xfaxput, xfaxget − FAX send-receive tool

SYNOPSIS

xfaxsend [ −toolkitoption ... ] [ options ... ]

xfaxrecv [ −toolkitoption ... ]

xfaxput [ −toolkitoption ... ] [ options ... ]

xfaxget [ −toolkitoption ... ] [ options ... ]

DESCRIPTION

These programs are tools in X window to send-receive fax. 
xfaxsend is tool to send fax. 
xfaxrecv is tool to receive fax. 
xfaxput is tool to send by polling. 
xfaxget is tool to receive by polling. 
Refer to "NEWS-OS Release 4.2 Manual Set USERS’ GUIDE / FAX GUI".

OPTION

These programs accept all of standard X tool kit command line option. 

xfaxsend and xfaxput accept the following additional options. 

−file file-name Specifies file name.  If the name of the file is ‘−’, these read from standard input. 

−type file-type Specifies type of file.  File types are

tiff: TIFF file
text: Plain text file
roff: roff source file (ms macro)
roff_im: roff intermediate output file
cdff: CDFF file
cdif: CDIF file

If not specified, it is "tiff". 

xfaxsend and xfaxget accept the following additional options. 

−noid If this command line option is specified, the request ID will not be displayed after the request accepted. 

RESOURCE

In addition to the resources that widget has and used in these programs, applications themselves have the following resources. 

faxDir (class FaxDir)
Specifies directory for fax that is made in home directory. Default is  "Fax".

showID (class Boolean)
If False, the request ID will not be displayed after the request accepted.

MULTI LANGUAGE SUPPORT

Compatible with Japanese (shift JIS/EUC).
