NAME

faxgetrecv − Stores the received FAX data. 

SYNOPSIS

faxgetrecv −receive receive-id [ −file file-name ] [ −line line-id ] [ −host host-name ]

DESCRIPTION

faxgetrecv stores the received FAX data in the specified file.  The data that are read by the command faxgetrecv are all TIFF (Tag Image File Format) bilevel image data. 
Privileged user (user level 0, 1, 2) only can read the received data. But, in case of polling reception, owner of the request (who sends faxrecvpoll command ) can also read the received data. 

The following options are recognized. 

−rec[eive] receive-id
Specifies receiving ID.

−fil[e] file-name
Specifies the file name to store the received data.
If not specified, it is output to standard output.

−li[ne] line-id
If multiple lines are connected, line ID (0 or 1) is specified. 
If not specified, 0 is default value. 

−ho[st] host-name
Specifies the host name that carries FAX board. If not specified, the host name registered in the top of FAX host machine registration file is used.

DIAGNOSIS

If successful, exit status is 0. 
Otherwise, error message is written to stderr.

NOTES

(If communication error occurs,) there may be the case that only a part of text sent from counterpart type G3 facsimile can be received.
