SYNOPSIS
sbrec [ −d device ] [ −i level ] [ −inch channel ] [ −insel input ] [ options ] file
DESCRIPTION
sbrec reads sound data from the audio interface in the format specified by any options and stores the data in a file under a Sony Multimedia data format.
OPTIONS
−d device
specifies the audio interface being used. If the −d option is not specified, /dev/sbe0 will be opened. If this fails, the device file /dev/sb0 will be opened.
−i inputlevel
specifies the input level. This value (∗1) can be from −32.0 dB to 0.0 dB in 0.5 dB increments. If not specified, the previous setting is used.
∗1This value can be from −16.0 dB to +16.0 in 0.5 dB increments on NWS-5000 series. NWS-3100 series does not support this option. The value can be from −10.0 dB to +7.5 dB in 2.5 dB increments when line inputfrom the board is used with /dev/sbe0.
−inch channel
specifies the setting parameter which defines whether the data is input only to the left channel or to both channels when the LINE SELECTOR output is mono data. ∗3
mono Specifies the setting is to both channels.
stereo Specifies the setting is only to the left channel.
