       configCheck(1M) configCheck(1M)

       NAME
             configCheck - autoconfigure mail.

       SYNOPSIS
             configCheck [-l on|off] [-s on|off]

       DESCRIPTION
configCheck examines and records the system configuration. It
             is called by createSurr.

The system configuration generated by configCheck is stored in
             /etc/mail/mailflgs.

The options to configCheck and their meanings are as follows:

-l Turns on or off the log flag.

-s Turns on or off a flag which forces all mail
leaving the system to be routed through the
                         SMARTERHOST defined in /etc/mail/mailflgs.

       FILES
             /etc/mail/mailflgs
The flags file where the output from configCheck
                         is stored.
