createSurr(1M) createSurr(1M)
NAME
createSurr - autoconfigure mail.
SYNOPSIS
/usr/lib/mail/surrcmd/createSurr [-l on|off] [-s on|off]
DESCRIPTION
createSurr examines and records the system configuration. It
then uses this information along with prototype files to
create the files /etc/mail/mailsurr and /etc/mail/lookupLibs.
The system configuration that createSurr generates is stored
in /etc/mail/mailflgs.
The options to createSurr and their meanings are as follows:
-l Turns on or off logging of mail passing through
the system. If mail logging is on, the logs are
stored in /var/mail/:log and /var/mail/:errors
-s Turns on or off a flag which forces all mail
leaving the system to be routed through the
SMARTERHOST defined in /etc/mail/mailcnfg.
