NAME
mailflgs - file containing system configuration flags
DESCRIPTION
/etc/mail/mailflgs contains a set of flags defining the system
configuration. It is created and/or modified by the
createSurr program and Mail_Setup in the graphical user
interface.
/etc/mail/mailflgs contains one flag per line. These flags
come from the following set:
MHS The presence of this flag indicates that the MHS
gateway is configured.
SMTR The presence of this flag indicates that the
SMARTERHOST variable is present in
/etc/mail/mailcnfg.
IP The presence of this flag indicates that IP is
configured.
UUCP The presence of this flag indicates that there is
at least one entry in the file /etc/uucp/Systems.
DNS The presence of this flag indicates that the
Domain Name Server resolver is configured on this
system.
NIS The presence of this flag indicates that NIS is
configured on this system.
LOG This flag indicates that the passage of mail
through this system should be logged.
STUP This flag indicates that all mail leaving this
system should be routed through the smarter host.
Site-specific flags can be added if necessary. These flags
are available for use in the boolean expressions in
/usr/lib/mail/mailsurr.proto and
/usr/lib/mail/lookupLibs.proto.
