uulog(1) uulog(1)
NAME
uulog - display UUCP log files
SYNOPSIS
uulog[ -s system][ -f system][ -x][ -number]
DESCRIPTION
uulog queries records of uucp and uux transactions in log files in the
file tree /var/spool/uucp/.LOG.
Caution:
UUCP's recording of which user initiated a transaction is not
always reliable.
OPTIONS
-s system
uulog prints information on transactions involving the specified
system only.
-f system
uulog lists the log file entries for system. Having done this,
uulog does not terminate, but waits for new log file entries to
be made. Thus if you call uulog with the -u option, to terminate
it you have to press <DEL>.
-x uulog lists the entries in the log file
/var/spool/uucp/.LOG/uuxqt. If you omit -x, uulog lists the
entries in /var/spool/uucp/.LOG/uucico.
-number
uulog lists the last number log file entries for each system.
LOCALE
The LCMESSAGES environment variable governs the language in which
message texts are displayed. If LCMESSAGES is undefined or is defined
as the null string, it defaults to the value of LANG. If LANG is like-
wise undefined or null, the system acts as if it were not internation-
alized.
The LCALL environment variable governs the entire locale. LCALL
takes precedence over all the other environment variables which affect
internationalization.
