NAME

gethostid − get sprite identifier of current host

SYNOPSIS

gethostid()

DESCRIPTION

Gethostid returns the sprite host id of the current host. 

RETURN VALUE

If the call succeeds the sprite ID is returned.  If the call fails, then a value of −1 is returned and an error code is placed in the global location errno.
