WAIT(1CSH) COMMAND REFERENCE WAIT(1CSH) NAME wait - wait for background processes (csh built-in) SYNOPSIS wait DESCRIPTION The wait command waits for all running background jobs to either complete or to stop (if tostop mode is set on the terminal). If the shell is interactive, an interrupt will disrupt the wait, at which time the job information for all outstanding jobs is printed. EXAMPLES The following command waits for all running background processes to complete. wait RETURN VALUE [0] CAVEATS Unlike wait(1sh), wait does not take any arguments.
