DEF.DIR.FLP(1)

NAME

def.dir.flp − default directory file list program

SYNOPSIS

def.dir.flp

DESCRIPTION

def.dir.flp is CodeManager’s default directory file list program (FLP).  When a directory argument is specified to bringover(1) or putback(1), the command makes that directory the current directory and executes def.dir.flp.

The standard behavior of def.dir.flp is to recursively list all the files beneath its current directory that are under SCCS control.

If the shell environment variable CODEMGR_DIR_FLP is set, it is assumed to contain the name of an FLP and it is executed in place of the standard FLP.

If the file, dir.flp, exists in the current directory, it is assumed to be a specific FLP for that directory and it is executed in place of the standard FLP.

ENVIRONMENT

The following variable is used by def.dir.flp.

CODEMGR_DIR_FLP Contains the name of the file list program (FLP) to use in workspaces if one is not explicitly specified by means of the -f option.  Overrides the CodeManager default FLP def.dir.flp(1).

The following variables are set by bringover and putback at execution time for use within FLPs.

CODEMGR_CMD Contains the name of the CodeManager command.

CODEMGR_WS_CHILD Contains the name of the child workspace for this CodeManager command.

CODEMGR_WS_DEST Contains the name of the destination (to) workspace for this CodeManager command.

CODEMGR_WS_PARENT Contains the name of the parent workspace for this CodeManager command.

CODEMGR_WS_SRC Contains the name of the source (from) workspace for this CodeManager command.

CODEMGR_WS_ROOT The bringover and putback commands execute FLPs in both the parent and child workspaces.  This variable contains the name of the workspace in which the FLP is currently executing.
