NAME

install_openwin − install OpenWindows system files

DESCRIPTION

The install_openwin command is used to install system files required for operation of the OpenWindows system. 

NOTES

The install_openwin command is really a front end to several other installation commands that handle system files for various components of the OpenWindows system. 

The install_openwin command must be run as the superuser and requires that the environment variable OPENWINHOME be set to the installed location for OpenWindows.

/sys/sunX/OBJ/evqmod-sunX.o evq loadable driver

/sys/sunX/OBJ/winlock-sunX.o winlock loadable driver

/etc/filetype file type database used by filemgr(1)

/etc/magic magic number database used by filemgr(1)

/etc/rpc.cmsd standard location for installing the binary for rpc.cmsd(8)

/usr/spool/calendar spool directory used by rpc.cmsd(8)

/etc/install/OWrelease OpenWindows version information datafile
