NAME
xwdset − get and set header information of a XWD format image file
SYNOPSIS
xwdset [ −in infile ] [ −out outfile ] [ −xres num ] [ −yres num ] [ −name XWDfilename ] [ −nodpi ] [ −status ] [ −help ]
DESCRIPTION
xwdset writes the XWD format image file putting window name and resolution in the header or displays header information of the file.
There is no field for resolution in the header of an XWD format image file. Therefor xwdset puts resolution in the field for window name.
If no option is specified, the window name will be
XWDfilename:X:100:Y:100.
Standard input and output are used unless input file name infile or output file name outfile are specified.
OPTIONS
−name XWDfilename
specifies the window name to be set in the header.
−xres num, −yres num
specify the resolution to be set in the field for window name.
−nodpi
Sets window name without the resolution.
−status
Writes the header information on the standard error output. With this option, the output image data will not be written on the standard output.
−in infile
specifies the input file. If it is not specified, standard input is used.
−out outfile
specifies the output file. If it is not specified, standard output is used.
−help
Print out the ‘Usage:’ command syntax summary.
