sxparam − NEWS Desk desktop tool, paramter entry utility

SYNOPSIS

sxparam [ −toolkit options ] [ −pr string ]

DESCRIPTION

sxparam is a paramter entry utility for NEWS Desk. The program performs a simple function.  When terminated, it outputs the character strings entered in the parameter input area to standard output. 

This program is never run by itself.  It is always called from inside sxsession(1) or sxfiler(1).  It is not normally possible to specify any parameters desired when commands are executed from sxsession(1) or sxfiler(1).  Using sxparam remedies this deficiency. 

OPTIONS

−pr string
When this option is specified, the string is displayed in the sxparam window. 

MULTI LANGUAGE SUPPORT

Japanese (Shift-JIS/EUC), Korean (EUC) and English (ISO 8859-1) are supported.
