DESCRIPTION

sjx is a Japanese language input front end processor that performs kana-kanji conversion for applications running over X Window System. 

sjx communicates with applications running over X Window System and performs kana-kanji conversion on the Roman letter or half-width kana data it receives.  The results are then passes to the application. 

When sjx is run, the setup file .sjrc in the home directory is read and the settings it contains are then used for the operation of the program.  If there is no .sjrc file, the default settings are used. 

OPTIONS

−help Displays a description of available options; does not run sjx. 

−o This option specifies the NWP-410 as the keyboard to be used. 

−display display
This option specifies which X server is connected.

−fn font
This option specifies the half-width kana font.

−jfn japanese-font
This option specifies the kanji font.

−fg foreground
This option specifies the foreground color.

−bg background
This option specifies the background color.

−gfg guide-line-foreground
This option specifies the color of the guide line foreground.

−gbg guide-line-background
This option specifies the color of the guide line background.

−bd border-color
This option specifies the border color.

−geometry geometry
This option specifies the geometry.

X DEFAULTS

sjx reads in the defaults using the XGetDefault(3X) routine. 

fontSpecifies the half-width kana font.
japaneseFontSpecifies the kanji font.
foregroundSpecifies the foreground color.
backgroundSpecifies the background color.
guideForeSpecifies the color of the guide line foreground.
guideBackSpecifies the color of the guide line background.
borderColorSpecifies the border color.
