NAME
xwdprev − xwd file printer output emulator for X
SYNOPSIS
xwdprev [−help] [−display display] [−resolution num] [−Pprinter] [−xscale num] [−yscale num] [−max type] [−rot] [−tmp path] [infile]
DESCRIPTION
xwdprev emulates the printer output by xwdlpr (1). It reads from standard input, unless the input file name is not specified. The sizes of the images given on 100 dpi display such as NWP−513 or NWP−512D are the same as those by NWP−549 (300dpi color printer) or NWP−533/537/543 (400dpi monochrome printers.)
OPTIONS
−display display
specifies x-server to display the image. If it is not specified, environment variable DISPLAY will be used. (see also xwud(1), X(1))
−resolution num
specifies the resolution (dpi) of the display device. It should be an integer 50 − 600. The default is 100 (dpi.)
−Pprinter
specifies the printer to be emulated. If not specified, the system default printer or the printer which is set in environment variable PRINTER will be emulated.
−xscale num , −yscale num
specify magnification ratios if it should be changed. Magnification ratios should be 10% − 1000%. Default value is 100% (no size change.)
−max type
specifies the emulated maximum size of the printer output. If the image is larger than the specified size, it will be reduced to the size. type should be selected from { free(default), card, a, al, a4, a4l, b4, a3 .} When free is selected, the image will not be reduced even if it is larger than the size of paper.
−rot The image will be rotated 90 degree clockwise.
−tmp path
specifies the directory for the temporary file when it uses −rot option. If it is not specified, /usr/tmp is used.
−help Print out the ‘Usage:’ command syntax summary.
