NAME

xwdlpr − print commnad for XWD format image files

SYNOPSIS

xwdlpr [−help] [−Pprinter] [−xscale num] [−yscale num] [−max type] [−rot] [−tmp path] [infile]

DESCRIPTION

xwdlpr converts an XWD format image file into a format suitable the printer specified in −P option and send to lpr(1).  If input file name is not specified, it reads from standard input. 

OPTIONS

−Pprinter
specifies the printer to be used. If not specified, the system default printer or the printer which is set in environment variable PRINTER will be used. 
Remote printers can be used through the network. The loss time of printers is reduced owing that the format conversion is done in the local host.

−xscale num , −yscale num
specify magnification ratios if it should be changed. Magnification ratios should be 10% − 1000%. Default value is 100% (no size change.)

−max type
specifies the maximum size of the printer output. If the image is larger than the specified size, it will be reduced to the size. type should be selected from { free(default), card, a, al, a4, a4l, b4, a3 .} When free is selected, the image will not be reduced even if it is larger than the size of paper. 

−rot The image will be rotated 90 degree clockwise. 

−tmp path
specifies the directory for the temporary file when it uses −rot option.  If it is not specified, /usr/tmp is used. 

−help Print out the ‘Usage:’ command syntax summary. 

BUGS

To stop output to color printer (NWP−549), first turn off the power of the printer then use lprm(1) to delete the job which is active in lpq(1).
