NAME
eqnchar - special character definitions for eqn and neqn

SYNOPSIS
     eqn /usr/pub/eqnchar [option ...] [--] [file ...] | troff [option ...]

     neqn /usr/pub/eqnchar [option ...] [--] [file ...] | nroff [option ...]

DESCRIPTION
/usr/pub/eqnchar contains the following troff(1M) and nroff(1M) char-
acter definitions that are not ordinarily available on a phototype-
setter or printer. These definitions are primarily intended for use
     with eqn(1M) and neqn(1M).

eqnchar contains definitions for the following characters:

| | |______________________|________________________|_____________________| apseqnchar is a version of eqnchar tailored for the particular output device Autologic APS-5; output will not look optimal on other devices. cateqnchar is more "device-independent", and should produce output that looks reasonable on any device supported by troff(1M). By default, eqnchar is linked to cateqnchar. Page 2 Reliant UNIX 5.44 Printed 11/98
