NAME
pfenable - grant special process flags privileges to users

SYNOPSIS
     /etc/pfenable -[ADcCpU] [username ... | -E]

DESCRIPTION
WARNING: The use of some of the options offered by this command may
severely disrupt the normal functioning of the system.

pfenable grants the special privileges specified by the option list to
username for the manipulation of process flags normally reserved
solely for the superuser. If -E is given for the username, the privi-
leges will be granted to all users.

pfenable only grants a privilege to a user. In order to use the capa-
bility granted, a user must invoke launchit(1M) or issue a process
     flags call.

This utility may only be invoked by the superuser.

OPTIONS
-A enables username to disable the process affinity mechanism.

-D enables username to use preemption control.

-c enables username to bind processes to particular CPUs.

-C enables username to bind processes exclusively to particular
          CPUs.

-p enables username to run processes at a fixed priority, and allows
username to set negative nice values.

-U enables username to create processes which may fork an unlimited
          number of processes.
