pfdisable(1M) pfdisable(1M)
NAME
pfdisable - revoke special processflags privileges from users
SYNOPSIS
/etc/pfdisable -[ADcCpU] [username ... | -E]
DESCRIPTION
WARNING: The use of some of the options offered by this command may
severely disrupt the normal functioning of the system.
pfdisable revokes the special privileges specified by the option list
from username, which were granted by a previous pfenable(1M) request.
If -E is given for the username, the privileges will no longer be
granted to "all users". Note, that privileges granted to specific
users will not be revoked.
This utility may only be invoked by the superuser.
OPTIONS
-A revokes username's ability to disable the process affinity
mechanism.
-D revokes username's ability to use preemption control.
-c revokes username's ability to bind processes to particular CPUs.
-C revokes username's ability to bind processes exclusively to par-
ticular CPUs.
-p revokes username's ability to run processes at a fixed priority
and to set negative nice values.
-U revokes username's ability to create processes which may fork an
unlimited number of processes.
