x29localsetup − Add a profile to the local PAD profile database

SYNOPSIS

/usr/sbin/x29localsetup

DESCRIPTION

The x29localsetup utility provides an interactive facility for adding PAD profiles to the local PAD profile database /etc/x29localprof. 

The x29localsetup utility first displays the profiles currently stored in the profile database.  The utility then prompts for the name of the new profile and for the value of each PAD parameter.  The default value for each PAD parameter is given with the prompt for each parameter; if <Return> is pressed without specifying a profile value then the default value is used. 

NOTES

To delete a profile from the profile database, a text editor should be used. 

Superuser privilege is required to add or remove a profile from the local PAD profile database.
