NAME
temip_ds_check − TeMIP datastore managing tool
SYNOPSIS
temip_ds_check repository_fullpathname [-rec] [-dump] [-v]
DESCRIPTION
The temip_ds_check command is used to check a TeMIP datastore.
This, operation can be done while TeMIP is running.
RESTRICTIONS
Its normal use is as temip_check sub-command. Therefore direct use must be restricted to particular cases.
ARGUMENTS
repository_fullpathname
pathname of the datastore to be checked.
When called without any parameter, usage information is displayed.
FLAGS
-dump
dump records while they are checked
-rec
list the checked records
-v
Verbose mode: detailed output is printed out.
EXEMPLES
# temip_ds_check /var/kits/temip/aOP_CT1 -REC
NOTES
When temip_ds_check detects a problem, the way to solve the problem may depend whether or not related files are corrupted too. To get a global checking of related files, apply temip_check command to the group to which belongs the corrupted datastore.
