Today 100% of Be's customers and developers are running the BeOS on PowerPC-based systems. Today you cannot purchase the BeOS for Intel, even if you know the secret handshake. So obviously, today, we suggest that if you want to try the BeOS, you try the BeOS for PowerPC.

Once we ship the BeOS for Intel, we'll publish an updated list of BeOS Ready Systems, including more specific information about which Intel Architecture configurations are supported. Then you can use either an Intel- or a PowerPC-based system, which ever you prefer.

<<Does this mean that Be is no longer supporting the BeOS on PowerPC? When will the BeOS for Intel Architecture be available? >>
