As fredlabs -- the developer of VirtualMac -- has stated, they are no longer working on VirtualMac.

If you're still interested in Mac OS emulation, you might check out the interesting work being done by a couple of BeOS developers, who are working on the interestingly named SheepShaver project. In most ways, SheepShaver is much more advanced than VirtualMac was, and performance should be comparable to using software natively in the Mac OS.
