     NAME
          fstyp - report file-system type

     SYNOPSIS
          fstyp file

     DESCRIPTION
          fstyp reports the type of the file system on which file re-
          sides. If file is a device file, fstyp attempts to read a
          file-system superblock from the device.  The file system
          must be one of the supported types listed in fstypes(4).

     DIAGNOSTICS
          If successful, fstyp prints to the standard output a message
          that indicates the file-system type.

          /etc/fstyp
          /etc/fs/*/fstyp
