saas − assemble assembly language program for standalone use [ args ] is a shell script front-end for the command.  invokes as specifying the appropriate include path standalone programs.  See for details regarding other assembler options.  Note that assembler programs assembled with saas will need to be linked with the standalone startup module /usr/lib/saio/crt0.o and /usr/lib/saio/libc.a.  as(1), sacc(1spp), sald(1spp)
