NAME
cp - Integrated Solutions Communications Processor
SYNOPSIS
device cp0 at vme? csr 0xfff520 am 0x3d vector cpintr
DESCRIPTION
An ISI Communications Processor provides 8 or 16 communica-
tion lines; and it can also provide printer support for
either centronix or data products type printer devices.
Each line attached to the ISI communications processor
behaves as described in tty(7). Input and output for each
line may independently be set to run at any of a number of
speeds; see tty(7) for the encoding.
CAVEATS
This board only supports DCD and DTR modem signals. Also it
may be DTE or DCE depending on the RS-232 adapter that is
connected to it. Adapters from ISI will normally turn the
board into a DCE device, while adapters manufactured by MIPS
will normally turn it into a DTE device.
