NAME
     sendmail.cf - sendmail configuration file

SYNOPSIS
     /usr/lib/sendmail.cf

DESCRIPTION
     The command /usr/lib/sendmail reads /usr/lib/sendmail.cf to
     obtain the site configuration information.  This includes
     information such as which mailers are to be executed for
     various addressing styles, and hosts which are prepared to
     receive mail to be forwarded.

     Due to the requirements of flexibility for sendmail, the
     configuration file can seem somewhat unapproachable.  The
     form and content of this file is extremely complicated; it
     is too complicated for most people to understand.  However,
     there are only a few basic configurations for most sites,
     for which standard configuration files have been supplied.
     Most other configurations can be built by adjusting an
     existing configuration files incrementally.

     the System Administrator's Guide.
