WARM(1prom) RISC/os Reference Manual WARM(1prom)

NAME
warm - attempt to warm start current image

SYNOPSIS
     warm

DESCRIPTION
The warm command examines memory for a restart block. If
warm finds a correctly formatted restart block, control
transfers to the existing memory image at the entry point
given in the restart block. A restart block contains infor-
mation that tells how to re-enter an existing image. Typi-
cally, the existing image has earlier aborted or terminated
     due to a device failure.
