JILT(1prom) RISC/os Reference Manual JILT(1prom)

NAME
jilt - set jilt bits in Control Misc register

SYNOPSIS
     jilt 0x|0X jilt_value

AVAILABILITY
This command is available only on RC6380 systems.

DESCRIPTION
jilt is a PROM monitor or standalone shell (sash(1M)) com-
mand that sets the jilt bits (18 through 22) in the Control
Misc register. Use jilt_value (preceded by either 0x or 0X)
to specify the jilt value, which can range from 00 to 1F
hexadecimal. For example, enter the following command to
change the jilt value to 1A:
          jilt 0x1A

CAUTIONS
Changing the jilt bits can have catastrophic results. Do not
attempt to use the jilt command unless you are thoroughly
familiar with how the jilt bits affect computer operations.
This command is intended for system maintenance only.
