NAME
     sysdef - display current settings of the kernel's tunable
          parameters

SYNOPSIS
     /etc/sysdef

DESCRIPTION
     sysdef lists the values of the tunable parameters for the
     currently running /unix kernel.

FILES
     /unix   default operating system file (where the system
             namelist is)

NOTES
     sysdef does not display the following tunable parameters:
     SHLBMAX, GPGSMSK, and PUTBUFSZ.

DIAGNOSTICS
     The message internal name list overflow is displayed if the
     master table contains more than an internally specified
     number of entries for use by nlist(3C).
