NAME
     devnm - device name

SYNOPSIS
     /usr/sbin/devnm [name...  ]

DESCRIPTION
     The devnm command identifies the special file associated
     with the mounted file system where the argument name
     resides.  One or more names can be specified.

     This command is most commonly used by the brc command to
     construct a mount table entry for the root device.

EXAMPLE
     The command:

          /usr/sbin/devnm /usr
     produces:

          /dev/dsk/c1d0s2 /usr
     if /usr is mounted on /dev/dsk/c1d0s2.

FILES
     /dev/dsk/*
     /etc/mnttab
