NAME

see − see what a file has in it

SYNOPSIS

see [ − ] [ name ... ]

DESCRIPTION

See prints a file which contains non-printing characters in a readable format.  Control characters print like ^I for tab.  Delete prints as ^?.  Ends of lines are marked with ‘$’ unless the ‘−’ option is given
