NAME

df − Print information about disk free space

SYNOPSIS

df [file file ...]
 

DESCRIPTION

This command will print information about disk utilization and free space for some or all of the file system domains.  If no arguments are given, it prints out information for all the domains in the current host’s prefix table (i.e., all the domains that have been accessed since the host was booted).  If one or more file arguments is given, then df will print out information for the domains containing those files.
