NAME

lfscheck − Check lfs disk for problems. 

SYNOPSIS

lfscheck [options] deviceName

OPTIONS

−blockSize izeBlock size of file system. 

−superBlockOffset offset
Offset into device of the superBlock.

−dumpPrint out a description of the file system. 

−showDirLogPrint out the directory operation log. 

−fullPrint a full error analysis. 

−verboseOutput progress messages during execution. 

−oldcpUses old checkpoint (?).  This flag makes lfscheck use the opposite checkpoint area from the one it would use otherwise. 
 

DESCRIPTION

Lfscheck scans a LFS file system looking for problems.  It will report any inconsistency it finds.
