DESCRIPTION

Jclean is the Jaquith disk cleaner. By and large it’s invoked automatically as disk space becomes tight. (See the -disklow and -diskhigh options on Jaquith.)

However, Jclean can be invoked manually if needed. By default it cleans all archives listed in the Jaquith root. i.e. it looks in all subdirectories ∗.arch in the Jaquith root.  Use the -arch option to restrict the cleaning to a specific archive.

Jclean writes data to tape in Posix tar format.  If necessary data on Jaquith tapes can be retrieved using: tar xvfb device 64.
