NAME
     tanh - hyperbolic tangent function

SYNOPSIS

     double
     tanh(double x)

DESCRIPTION
     The tanh() function computes the hyperbolic tangent of x. For a
     discussion of error due to roundoff, see math(3).

RETURN VALUES
     The tanh() function returns the hyperbolic tangent value.
