RDUMP(8N) COMMAND REFERENCE RDUMP(8N)
NAME
rdump - file system dump across the network
SYNOPSIS
/etc/rdump [ key [ argument ... ] filesystem ]
DESCRIPTION
Rdump copies to magnetic tape all files changed in the
filesystem after a certain date. The command is identical
in operation to dump(8) except that the f key should be
specified and the file supplied should be of the form
machine:device.
Rdump uses rexec to creates a remote server, /etc/rmt, on
the client machine to access the tape device.

DIAGNOSTICS
Same as dump(8) with some additional network related
messages.
RETURN VALUE
[0] Rdump was successful.
[1] Rdump was unsuccessful.
[NP_WARN] An error warranting a warning message
occurred. Execution continues.
