FLOOR(3M)               COMMAND REFERENCE               FLOOR(3M)

NAME
     fabs, floor, ceil, fmod - absolute value, floor, ceiling,
     mod  functions

SYNOPSIS
     #include <math.h>

     double floor(x)
     double x;

     double ceil(x)
     double x;

     double fmod(x, y)
     double x, y;

     double fabs(x)
     double x;

DESCRIPTION
     Floor returns the largest integer not greater than x.

     Ceil returns the smallest integer not less than x.

     Fmod returns x if y is zero; otherwise it returns the number
     f with the same sign as x, such that x = iy + f for some
     integer i, and |f| < |y|.

     Fabs returns the absolute value of |x|.

EXAMPLES

          floor (5.4)  =  5.0
          floor (-5.4) = -6.0

          ceil (5.4)  =  6.0
          ceil (-5.4) = -5.0

          fmod (-10.6, 0.0) = -10.6
          fmod (10.6, 4.0)  =  2.6
          fmod (-10.6, 4.0) = -2.6

FILES

                              part of this library).
