RC.X(8X10) COMMAND REFERENCE RC.X(8X10) NAME rc.X - command script for X window auto-reboot This is supported. SYNOPSIS /etc/rc.X DESCRIPTION The program rc.X is the command script controlling the automatic reboot for the X window system. When an automatic reboot is in progress, rc.X is invoked by /etc/rc; rc.X then checks for the file /etc/X.confbeforeexecutingthexsystem When the xsystem(8x10) program is invoked it uses it uses the stored values in the X.conf file to start the proper X server and creates console and login windows using the proper options. If the file /etc/X.conf does not exist, the program xconfig(8x10) is called to create the file. Control is then returned to /etc/rc.
