REVNETGROUP(8) COMMAND REFERENCE REVNETGROUP(8) NAME revnetgroup - reverse the netgroup file SYNOPSIS /usr/etc/yp/revnetgroup [ -h | -u ] DESCRIPTION The revnetgroup command reverses the netgroup file. A flag of -u means reverse by user name, a flag of -h means reverse by host name. Each line in the output file begins with a key formed by concatenating the host or user name with the domain name. The key is followed by a tab, which is followed by a comma-separated, newline-terminated list of groups to which the user or host belongs. Groups to which everyone belongs (universal groups) are not included in the list. The universal groups are listed under the special name *. The name of the input file is obtained from stdin; this command is usually invoked only by the command make netgroup in the /usr/etc/yp directory on the master Yellow Pages server. OPTIONS -u Reverse by user name. -h Reverse by host name. FILES /usr/etc/yp/Makefile SEE ALSO ypmake(8), netgroup(5). Printed 4/6/89 1
