     hypot, cabs - Euclidean distance

SYNOPSIS

     double hypot (x, y)

     double cabs (z)
     struct { double x, y; } z;

DESCRIPTION
     Hypot and cabs return

          sqrt (x*x + y*y),

     taking precautions against unwarranted overflows.

     The x and y arguments to the complex absolute value function
     cabs consist of the real and imaginary parts, respectively.
