REMAPBDF(1X11) COMMAND REFERENCE REMAPBDF(1X11) NAME remapbdf - change the glyph positions in a Bitmap Distribution Format file SYNOPSIS remapbdf [ -c ] mapfile This is a supported client. DESCRIPTION This program reads BDF (Bitmap Distribution Format) from stdin and writes BDF to stdout, changing the positions of the glyphs according to the pairs of numbers in mapfile. The first number of the pair is the old position and the second number is the new position. There is only one level of mapping, so no loops can happen. Any old characters remaining at the former position are deleted once the mappings are complete. The mapfile may have comments, marked by a first character of '#' or '!'. OPTIONS -c Causes remapbdf to copy characters to the new position, rather than moving them. -W Print warnings for characters with an encoding of -1; the default is to silently toss such characters. CAVEATS Don't count on the ordering of the characters; the moved ones are just appended to the list. Only maps fonts up to 256 characters.
