XDESTROY(1X10) COMMAND REFERENCE XDESTROY(1X10)

NAME
xdestroy - destroy an X window

For 4310, 4320, and 4330 series UTek products only.

SYNOPSIS
     xdestroy

DESCRIPTION
When invoked, xdestroy takes control of the mouse and waits
for the user to choose a window. (Move the cursor over a
window and press any mouse button.) A special cursor is
displayed by xdestroy, indicating that a window must be
chosen by the user. Only windows whose parent is the root
window can be selected. If the root window is selected, no
window is deleted; otherwise, the target window, associated
windows, (if any), and all child windows are deleted.

CAVEATS
Only the window is destroyed, not any process which may be
using the window. This results in processes receiving error
messages from using the destroyed window and in processes
     blocking on input.
