UNCOMPACT(1) COMMAND REFERENCE UNCOMPACT(1) NAME uncompact - uncompress files SYNOPSIS uncompact [ name... ] DESCRIPTION Uncompact restores the original file from a file compressed by compact. If no filenames are given, the standard input is uncompacted to the standard output. EXAMPLES This example uncompacts the data in the file prog.c.C, leaving the uncompacted data in the file prog.c and removing prog.c.C: uncompact prog.c.C FILES *.C Compacted file created by compact, is removed by uncompact RETURN VALUE [NO_ERRS] Command completed without error. [NP_WARN] An error warranting a warning message occurred. Execution continues. [NP_ERR] An error occurred that was not a system error. Execution terminated. [P_WARN] A system error occurred.
