CONSET(1) COMMAND REFERENCE CONSET(1) NAME conset - Sets or displays the configuration of the console port For 4310 series UTek products. SYNOPSIS conset [ <optionslist> ] DESCRIPTION The utility conset allows you to examine and set certain Display System options on the console port. conset, with no argument or the show option, reports the current setting of the options. OPTIONS The option strings are selected from the following set: +cursor Make graphic cursor visible. -cursor Make graphic cursor invisible. default Restore default settings. +diskpan Enable joydisk panning of viewport. -diskpan Disable joydisk panning of viewport. +mousepan Enable mouse panning of the viewport (available on Tektronix 4315 UTek products). -mousepan Disable mouse panning of the viewport (available on Tektronix 4315 UTek products). +screensave Enable screen blanking after 10 minutes of inactivity. -screensave Disable screen blanking after 10 minutes of inactivity. show Display the current settings for the options. This is the same as if no option is specified. +track Enable graphic cursor tracking the mouse. -track Disable graphic cursor tracking the mouse. +video Select normal video (black on white). -video Select inverse video (white on black). CONSET(1) COMMAND REFERENCE CONSET(1) RETURN VALUE [NO_ERRS] Command completed without errors. [EBUSY] Another process has control of /dev/xdev, usually X windows. CAVEATS This utility is designed for use with the boot tty or glass tty. Both X(1) windows and smalltalk(1) manage many of the same functions as found in conset, i.e. cursor tracking and the screen saver functions. The conset utility is useful as a diagnostic tool if neither X windows or smalltalk are available.
