RNDMODE(3F) COMMAND REFERENCE RNDMODE(3F) NAME rndmode - set rounding method for floating point instructions SYNOPSIS subroutine rndmode (mode) int mode DESCRIPTION Rndmode allows the user to chose which rounding method should be used when a floating point instruction produces a result that can not be exactly represented. The default method is to round to the nearest value. The mode has the following meaning: Value Meaning 0 Round to the nearest value. 1 Round toward zero. 2 Round toward positive infinity. 3 Round toward negative infinity.
