NAME
     acos, dacos - FORTRAN arccosine intrinsic function

SYNOPSIS
     real r1, r2
     double precision dp1, dp2

     r2 = acos(r1)

     dp2 = dacos(dp1)
     dp2 = acos(dp1)

DESCRIPTION
     Acos returns the real arccosine of its real argument.  Dacos
     returns the double-precision arccosine of its double-
     precision argument.  The generic form acos may be used with
     impunity as its argument will determine the type of the
     returned value.
