RMDIR(1) COMMAND REFERENCE RMDIR(1) NAME rmdir - remove (unlink) directories or files SYNOPSIS rmdir directory... DESCRIPTION Rmdir removes entries for the named directories, which must be empty. The current directory (.) cannot be removed even if it is empty. EXAMPLES The following example removes the directories Mail and Other from the current directory. Both directories must be empty. rmdir Mail Other RETURN VALUE [NO_ERRS] Command completed without error. [USAGE] Incorrect command line syntax. Execution terminated. [P_WARN] A system error occurred.
