NAME

tops_comm - send a file to AppleTalk LaserWriter

SYNOPSIS

tops_comm [ + ] [ -P printer ] [ -n user ] [ -h host ]

DESCRIPTION

tops_comm prints a file on an Apple LaserWriter or ImageWriter or compatible on AppleTalk.  tops_comm will translate ordinary text input into postscript if need be.  If the input file is already in postscript form, it is sent along to the LaserWriter.  tops_comm expects that the last printer name entry in each printcap entry is the full AppleTalk name and zone specifcation of the target LaserWriter. 

OPTIONS

−P printname
Specify printer name

−n user name
Specify user name.

−h host name
Specify host name.

+ Debug mode.
