NAME

sunpc_install − individual machine installation for SunPC 3.0. 

SYNOPSIS

sunpc_install [ −A kernel-pathname ]

DESCRIPTION

Prepares local machine with capability to run SunPC 3.0.  sunpc_install must be run as root. 
 
sunpc_install copies the SunPC 3.0 loadable module to the local system, and updates /etc/rc.local to activate the module on subsequent reboots. 

The files, /etc/filetype and /etc/magic, are created or updated for SunPC 3.0. 

OPTIONS

−A kernel-pathname
If −A is specified, kernel-pathname is the path name to a booted kernel other than /vmunix.

DIAGNOSTICS

A subsequent run of sunpc_install will reinstall files as necessary.
